Great way to find stars and identity constellations

The graphics are great. Just being able to point anywhere and see whats in the sky is amazing.

A couple of weeks ago the news was all about the great view of Mars we would have that night and how to find it in the night sky. Sure enough-it was easy to see. The sky was very clear and we live far from major city lights so we were able to see so many bright stars. But what were they? I quickly found and purchased this app and was able to use it to identify so many constellations! Really fun to use!

So fun to use! Great to se which ones are planets and stars. Love the mythology and outlines of all the constellations.

Congratulations on this beautiful app. I had the first one and I loved it too but now Im deleting it because 2 is 100% better. The best thing are the constelations drawings.

Everything works smoothly, but why is the sun categorized as a planet?

Shiny new graphics, but less star info than the non-HD version of the app. For example, this version only identifies Betelgeuse in the Orion constellation while the non-HD version has descriptions for 7 stars in the same constellation. The whole point of a pocket planetarium is to identify the stars we see in the sky. Removing info for nicer graphics is not a good trade-off in my opinion, hence the low note.
